SPF is an essential skincare product that should be used by everyone, every single day regardless of the weather! Our mission is to create a product with a light weight formula that feels comfortable on the skin, whilst protecting skin from environmental damage. 

By having an SPF that is BROAD SPECTRUM, this ensures protection from both UVA & UVB Rays. Additionally having factor 50 protection allows 98% of UVB rays to be blocked out.

EFFECT OF UVA RAYS:

• More penetrating than UVB rays, meaning they can affect cells that are deeper in the skin layers.
• They cause indirect damage to DNA
• Cause skin to age prematurely, which will lead to visible signs of ageing / wrinkles. UVA is also associated with some skin cancers.

EFFECT OF UVB RAYS:

• UVB Rays damage the outermost layers of the skin.
• Directly damage DNA
• Long UVB exposure can lead to sunburn.

To help minimise the above effects, SPF should be reapplied frequently throughout the day! When in direct sunlight, protection should be reapplied more frequently.
